While the HikaNation main group continued their journey through Kentucky,
Tim, Scott, and William returned from their northern side trip to Route 25W and I-75
near Williamsburg, Kentucky. Tim and Scott resumed hiking to catch up to the main group.
William however decided to hitchhike on to Atlanta and would return later in the week.
Route campsites, notes, and photos from both groups will be added if available.

From William Ewart's journal:
Tim, Scott, and I returned from our northern side trip
to Route 25W and I-75 near Williamsburg, Kentucky.
Tim and Scott resumed hiking to catch up to the main group.
I however decided to hitchhike on to Atlanta and would return
Saturday to resume hiking.
I hitchhiked to Atlanta on the 4th to visit one of my brothers and
then drove to see my parents in Toccoa, Ga., on the 6th, returning
to the "trail" on the 7th.
