Hiking along the Appalachian Trail was "at your own pace", so HikaNation groups were spread out along the A.T., with various campsites every night. The ones listed at the top of the page are William Ewart's campsites. Photos will try to match the dates of occurence so the photos will not always be William's whereabouts. |

To add & revise to: Several of us took an alternate route, the Iron Mountain Trail, instead of the Appalachian Trail...skipping the climbs of Whitetop and Mount Rogers....saving 20 miles...doing the skip to hike with Scott and keep up the guitar/recorder practicing. Rejoined the A.T. after Mount Rogers and before Trimpi Lean-to.
