2.7,  2.6.1,  2.6,  2.5.5,  2.5
and 'puters will all see everything
in this section of the webpage
aligned correctly since this code

was used at the beginning of this
"add an item"--"text" area.

More details on using the
method for alignments.

If you are currently using the  2.5,  2.5.5,  2.6, or  2.6.1 upgrade versions and your webpage is now aligned correctly using the
codes at the beginning of each "add an item"-- "text" area, it will remain aligned correctly with the new  2.7  upgrade.

As written, the content  at the top of the page  should NOT view with the text centered page-wise or the image aligned to the very right of the page since I did not use at the very beginning of the "add an item"-- "text" area, so page-wise centering and right alignment should not work---2.5, 2.5.5, 2.6, and 2.6.1 and 'puters see the top of the webpage "correctly" (ie, not centered and image not aligned to the right).

2.7 however is seeing the text at the top of the webpage centered and the image aligned to the right of the page. The 2.7 version is centering things without the extra codes added at the beginning of text areas----but only the 2.7 version will see the  above content as centered; 'puters and lower upgrade versions will not see the content aligned as intended.

That will be the confusing part for newer webpage builders that are not familiar with the method------if you have the 2.7 version and you use just the
tags, things will appear centered to the 2.7 user, but things will not be centered for anyone else (lower upgrade versions or for 'puter viewers).

So continue to write your pages with at the beginning of your "add an item"--"text" areas and then add whatever alignment codes you need and things will look as intended with lower upgrade versions and for the newer 2.7 upgrade.

So.........

Using the codes below at the beginning of an "add an item"--"text" area will produce correct alignments for all upgrade versions, and for 'puter viewers of your page. An example of the result of this coding is here.

But using just the codes below, only the 2.7 viewer will see it as intended; an example of the result of this coding is at the

These codes for alignments will also not work with the 2.7----aligning images directly from the scrapbook:
http://community.webtv.net/Pwilliamandx/not_centered
Images added directly from the scrapbook to the webpage, using "add an item"--"picture"--"your scrapbook" will be aligned according to the automatic alignments of Webtv.
